Some believe Caroline and Elizabeth were sisters, both possibly having married Isaac Harper. No proof of this has been found. Elizabeth's birthdate is hard to establish, as the Census dates show; (1850 b 1828), (1860 b 1832),(1870 b 1834),(1880 b 1830). I think she must have been born around 1828 since her father remarried in 1829. On January 4th 1879. Isaac and Elizabeth Harper sold land for $1.00 to Oak Hill Baptist Church, where the schoolhouse/church was built. "Oak Hill Church had been organized by Elder William O. Gibson in a little school house near Anthonies' Mill in Washington County", from Forest Hills and Vicinity by John Steele McCormick. Elizabeth was interred in Scott Cemetery (aka Anthonies Mill Cemetery) near Anthonies Mill. Isaac is probably interred there also, though there is no grave marker for him.
